Sculptures or mosaics, jewels or decorations, Pivi’s works never abandon the poetic line marked by the past: through the recovery of archaic iconographies and the owning of historical languages, the artist recreates with irony figures linked to myths and rites of distant cultures, oftentimes absurdly made topical.
