Neanche lì poteva rinunciare alle sue amarene (Not even there could she renounce her cherries)

She is a call girl and wears spike heels. She has no invitation for breakfast at Tiffany’s although she is in New York, in a foreshortened view of Manhattan. The artist portraits her while she crouches down and grabs the object of desire: the Amarena Fabbri vase. Like a little girl, she clutches it in her hands and in a green and hallucinated light foretastes it. Her avid and vibrant tongue is described with the same precision of architectures, like in a movie frame. Luca Zampetti, a metropolitan painter and poet, re-proposes also in this work with peculiar realism and evocative efficacy his dirty conscience of a contemporary artist.
