Rather hermetic is the diptych imagined by the young photographer from the Puglia region to wish a good day. The allusion to the cherry is delicate, naturally spread on toasted bread. The two boys who seem siblings have different characters but both appear distant, bored and alone. The background behind them and the solid-wood table in the foreground make them direct heirs of Leonardo’s twelve apostles invited to the table of a last dinner with no guest of honor. Vinci masterly interprets the decline of European civilization which is no longer able to give to its children a good reason for living.
